NAPA Longlife Universal is a monoethylene glycol-based ready-to-use engine coolant, designed for topping up all coolant types in all petrol and diesel engines and will provide protection to the end of the original drain interval for the current in-use coolant. Formulated with Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology (OAT) and free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates and silicates. BTC Classification Type 4E. The additive package has been specifically formulated to provide excellent continued corrosion protection for all types of engines under the most demanding conditions. Fleet trials have shown that when used at the correct concentration, coolants based on Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology continue to provide effective corrosion protection for up to 250,000km for passenger cars and 500,000km for commercial vehicles. It is recommended that the coolant is replaced when the above mileages have been reached or after 5 years - whichever comes first. Unlike traditional coolants which employ inorganic inhibitors, Longlife Universal has excellent hard water stability and very low inhibitor depletion rates. Longlife Universal has been extensively tested and shown to be compatible with other monoethylene glycol-based coolants and can be safely mixed with them. If used in combination with traditional coolant technology, it should be assumed that the service life will be that of the traditional coolant.
